RCAC’s mission RCAC provides training, technical and financial resources and advocacy so rural communities can achieve their goals and visions. RCAC – creating opportunities in rural America

Mutual Self-Help Housing RCAC provides support and training to 60 Self-Help Housing Organizations Homebuilders use 502 direct loans Packaging built in to the program.

USDA 502 Packaging Intermediary Pilot Program now permanent Local nonprofits package loans RCAC trains and provides quality control Fee to packager Expedites approvals at USDA with “decision-ready” package. Very high approval rate

USDA 502 Packaging Intermediary RCAC began in 2010 Approved in 13 states Currently active in Oregon, Hawaii, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah 7 active packagers – 46 approved FY 15 – reviewed 115 packages FY 16 – reviewed 48 in 6 months
