1 By Andrew Brook Interview with the New Zealand rugby players.

2 On the sixth of November 2013 most of the Leeds city councillors gathered along with many other people at the civic hall in Leeds to see the New Zealand and Italian rugby teams. With the match coming up in 15 days the players are trying to fit in as many hours training as possible. The New Zealand team train for about 2-5 hours a day 5 days a week. Many players have started playing rugby since their childhood at around the age of 6 onwards which gives them a huge advantage as they know more about playing in matches. ‘Rugby's a really great sport and it was my uncle who motivated me to play because he played for rugby league as well.’ Alex Glen

3 At the civic hall many dance workshops performed that day including RJC dance who performed a excellent dance routine in front of everyone there and were given a massive round of applause as they walked of the stage. Another group called Holy Family showed a brilliantly rehearsed haka which the New Zealand team looked very proud of. Another group shared some Indian music.

4 Tom Riordan the chief executive of Leeds City Council mentioned that Leeds city council had to bid to get the rugby players to come to their home city and Leeds won the bidding. Two of Leeds young reporters went to the event and interviewed not just the players but many other people who had a role in this event as well. This included the chief executive of Leeds rhinos Gary Heaton; ‘ I stared playing rugby when I was 8 and thought I would become a player but instead I'm the chief executive of Leeds rhinos.
