6 Brancusi’s sculptures commemorate the courage and sacrifice of Romanians fighting against the invaders.

21 According to the Guinness Book of World Records, this is the world's largest, most expensive, and heaviest civilian administrative building.

22 “Oina”, our national sport, can be found in the American “baseball”, “paume” from France, “pals pool” from Finland or “schlagball” from Germany.

23 One of the most important cultural and religious centers in Romania, Sibiu was designated European Capital of Culture for the year 2007, together with Luxembourg.
