10 FISD Professional Certification Objective: A credential to improve and recognize the level of skills, knowledge and general competency of people within our industry Financial Information Associate (FIA) certification is intended to reflect a professional who has been in the industry for 1-3 years. Benefits to Employers –Better qualified and knowledgeable staff –Facilitates staff development –Hiring and promotional decisions Benefits to Candidates –Differentiates candidate –Framework for development of skills and knowledge –Encourages better understanding of other job functions

11 FISD Professional Certification Curriculum and Examination have been developed Main areas of exam: –Markets –Data –Technology –Industry Issues and Trends FISD has contracted with Kryterion to provide testing services –Test scheduling done via Kryterion system –Testing will be done at local testing centers globally –Proctored test environment “Early Adopter” phase soft-launched in April Public announcement last week FISD working with Training Organizations
