2. In the summer of 2012, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park played host to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Talk to the person next to you: How old were you in 2012? What do you remember about the Games? 2

3. London 2012 was a great moment for British sport: 65 medals were won by Team GB; ParalympicsGB won 120 medals; new sporting stars were born; across the country people showed great support for Britain’s teams; and more and more people wanted to get active and play sports. 3

4. This summer, Rio de Janeiro will host the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 4
