INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RFP 15-085 gsdfgsdfg The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor that can satisfy the State’s need for Staff Training Services for BDDS. It is the intent of FSSA to contract with a vendor that provides quality Staff Training Services for BDDS. Summary Scope: BDDS operates eight offices throughout the state of Indiana employing approximately 70 Service Coordinators. The BDDS Service Coordinator makes independent case decisions for the BDDS program including determination of client eligibility, development of the client service plans and authorization of BDDS funds for services. The BDDS Service Coordinator works directly with consumers, families and medical professionals to conduct a consumer needs assessment and provides guidance to individuals with disabilities assisting them in achieving access to necessary services for health and safety, and self-sufficiency which is consistent with their strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice. BDDS is interested in staff training solutions from capable organizations to develop a mutually beneficial strategy for implementing and maintaining a training curriculum to be utilized with BDDS staff.

INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION INDIANA ECONOMIC IMPACT The State defines FTE as a measurement of an employee's productivity on a specific project or contract. A FTE of 1 would mean that there is one (1) worker fully engaged on a project; forty (40) hours a week, fifty- two (52) weeks a year. If there are two (2) employees each spending 1/2 of their working time, 20 hours per week, on a project that would also equal 1. $$$$$ $
