3. Growth Management Act requires cities and counties to review and revise their comprehensive plans and development regulations including their critical areas ordinance (CAO). The City completed this update in advance of the state deadline June 2016, except for the review of the CAO. Staff has completed such review and found that the only section necessary to amend based on most recent state statute is the Wetlands Section VMC. 740.140 and associated code VMC 20.150.040F, Definitions. 4. Amend reference to the Washington State Wetland Rating System for Western Washington to include the most recently adopted update of 2014. Amend the Wetland Rating Category description and criteria and table 20.740.140-2 based on state adopted update Amend C.2.d.1.b text to ensure consistency with the updated text and the existing Mitigation Ratios table 20.740.140-8.
