3 Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience TG-2 ISO 9001 Vs API Q1 TG reviewed requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and identify potential changes to Q1 and Q2 This TG found about 67 items that very identified and were listed a low or high priority SC18 has appointed a new TG2 chair and the TG will review the work from TG 2 gap analysis and determine how it might be include din the API Q1- 10 th edition.

4 Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience TG-3: Definition of a Manufacturer TG3 issued 18TR3 to cover 70 API specification to provide recommendation for minimum facility requirement fro API monogram licenses. Ballot closed with 426 comments, but SC18 has agreed to stop work on 18TR3 and send it direct to MPB for use by API Quality Programs to determine minimum facility requirements for licensees. Product specification can if they want to include minimum facilities in their own product specifications if needed.

5 Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience TG-5: Q2 Guidance and Revision Voting Q2 members review the current sections of API Spec Q2 being evaluated for the Technical Report and provide feedback and input if other sections need to be included. 42 Sections shall be shall be included in the Q2 TR development. SC18 to formally request IADC for a representative to API SC18 TG5. Add an addendum to API Q2 Definitions page to be dated as ISO 9000:2005 as new 2015 edition has changed some definitions

Received numerous comments. TG 6 will review the comment and include them in a final 18TR6 document. Copy of the 18TR6 final document will be sent to SC20G –to use as need in development of ne standard on Welding services.

7 Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience TG-7: Lifecycle Management Document 18LCM was balloted and closed 11/11/2015 356 comments issued during the ballot Comment resolution is underway and have covered about 50%. May require a 2 nd ballot. TG-7 will report at the next SC18 plenary meeting in June 2016 during 2016 Summer Standards Conference in Washington,D.C.

9 Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience Operational Excellence Quality and Customer Experience TG-9 Bolting – Review BSEE bolting report and requirements of Q1 – TG9 has met 3 times and has made recommendation to strength some section of API Spec Q1 to address sub-supplier. – SC18 accepted the report and request that their work be sent to TG2 be include in next edition of API Q1-10 th edition.

It provides an explanation of the changes from the previous edition associated with the requirements for conformance to API Q1, 9th.

The formatting of Q1, 9th was updated to better align with API Q2, First Edition and to follow a chronological order in the production and delivery of the product
