What Do They Eat? Insects and Arachnids spiders flies caterpillars crickets slugs Photosynthesis plants use the energy of the sun to convert carbon dioxide and water to sugar and oxygen The sugar produced is then converted to energy

Inside the Venus Flytrap Carnivorous plants have to be able to: Carnivorous Attract insects Capture bugs Discriminate between food and non-food Digest their prey The Venus Flytrap completes the entire process by way of a specialized set of leaves that is both mouth and stomach in one.
