2 Who we are:  We’re a center that provides resources and information to employees and employers in our community and surrounding area.  We assist employers with creating job postings, collecting resumes, and finding an employee that would be a good match with your organization. We offer programs to assist with training costs for employers such as our Employment Services Job Placement, Youth Employment Fund, Apprenticeship Placements, Summer Job Services, and Canada Ontario Job Grant (NEW)

3 Incentives Supports JMPI Job Matching Placement & Incentive Up to $6000.00 to the employer Up to $500.00 for the new employee to purchases tools, clothing, certification, etc. Qualifications A new hire (unemployed or underemployed) Please note all paperwork must be signed prior to the first day of work.

4 Incentives Supports Apprentice Placement Funds Up to $8,000.00 to the employer Up to $500 to the Apprentice for PPE, clothing, tools, etc. Qualifications 16 years or older Completed high school (or gr 10 for Construction sector) Have enough Journeyperson ratio Please note all paperwork must be signed prior to the first day of work.

5 Incentives Supports Youth Job Connection Up to $6,825.00 to the employer Up to $1,000.00 to client for PPE, clothing, tools, etc. Qualifications 15-29 years of age Lack of certifications Lack of experience in a working environment Completion of 60 hours of pre-employment training Please note all paperwork must be signed prior to the first day of work.

6 For employers to train current or new employees Employers choose the individuals and the training program Grant covers 2/3 up to $10,000.00 per employee Employer pays 1/3 of the training cost Small businesses (<50 employees) pay 1/6 of contribution as wages. 1/6 is paid up front for training COJG Canada Ontario Job Grant (NEW) Qualifications Purpose Incentives 3 rd party trainer Training up to 1 year length
