2 Describing Challenge In pairs you have 1 minute to come up with 10 describing words for a Hindu Mandir.

3 Outside Very decorative and elaborate. They are built in this way to show respect. They look like a palace to show Brahman is king. Often have a dome to ‘reach up to God’.

4 Inside Remove shoes to show respect. Shrine room is the heart of the mandir where you find the murtis. Hindus worship in a mandir. Make offerings to the murtis.
