Wambli (wamblee) “In order to fly, you have let go of the world you’re hanging on to.” An American Indian version of Hawk Girl Has large, blue wings that carry her to help victims on the reservations

Basic Description Gender: Female Ethnicity: American Indian Age:19 Name: Miracle Walking Elk Occupation: works at the broken down pizza hut that doesn’t meet actual fda standards(how is it still in business)

Back Story When she went to a ceremony, she had asked the Grandfather Spirits to help her mother be able to take care of her siblings, for she was abused by their father, and her mother did not have a full time job. When they responded, they gave her a pair of wings and a new name Wambli (eagle). They said to help her family she must also help others, specifically women and children. On the Indian Reservation the women were being abused, and couldn’t care for the young children, who had tragic accidents.

Importance In a world where white superheroes are very common, the 2 nd largest minority is African American people, then Hispanic, Asian, etc. We do not often see American Indian superheroes, especially female heroes

Originality I created this hero by taking qualities from several people that I knew including my mom, my aunt, my cousin Miracle, and my grandma Madeline Mom: hardworking, had to give up college to take care of her siblings Aunt: loving, rarely gets angry Miracle: tough, hard working Madeline: kind, scolded people in a loving way
