Table of Content Slide 3 My Smart House Slides 4-6All The Wonderful Things My House Can Do Slide 7Advantages & Disadvantages

This is my house. Believe it or not – this is a smart house! Why is it smart?! Because it can do many interesting things…

1.When I come home it says «Welcome» and Tommy gives me my slippers. Tommy is a robot. It is my servant. You can see his picture on this slide. 2.Then I go to the kitchen and the light switches on just automatically! Here I am in the kitchen. I press the button and …. Here we are! My little friends Dolly and Molly serves me dinner! By the way, they are twins 3.Molly and Dolly are great cooks, too. Every day I have just the best meals. Then I press the button again and … Molly and Dolly will clear the table and wash the dishes. 4.Then I make myself comfortable in the armchair and … press the button! The light switches off and the TV turns on. Hmmm, I think I am cold … Press the button and … my armchair is heated. Not in the mood for the TV tonight …. Press the button and enjoy music!

5. Then I go to the bathroom to take a shower. Right you are! I press the button and ….. Well, a shower is a shower. 6. Then I go to the bedroom and get into my bed. There is a control panel with many buttons there. I press the button and curtains shut. The main light turns off. I press another button and …. I see stars on the ceiling. Or I press another button and …. a TV screen appears on the ceiling and I can watch a movie or CNN news or a cartoon! Or I press the button twice and can listen to any music I want! From a lullaby to Piano Concerto № 3 by Rakhmaninov! 7. A new morning will come soon. And my friends Molly & Dolly and, of course, Tommy will make it bright and enjoyable. Tommy makes the best coffee on this planet, by the way. And he irons my shirts and trousers perfectly!

8. Do I have to clean the house, you may ask. Definitely not – is my answer. I have Jellies who keep my house sparkling clean! 9. I am leaving my smart and comfortable house at 8am. I need to hurry to my office and I am full of energy! And my Doggy barks cheerfully “HAVE A GREAT DAY, MASTER!” And I know that everything will be just fine! Doggy will guard the house, trim the grass, get my evening newspapers and … will log on the Internet … to order my food and my drinks!

My house is terrific! And this is not a miracle. On the top floor (just under the roof) there is a very big computer running all those nice things for me. My house is smart because it is computerised! I think that a computerised house is very useful. It has one big advantage. I do not have to waste my time on minor and unimportant things like cleaning, cooking, washing and ironing my clothes, washing dishes and so on. I have all the time I need to think, to read, to watch, to work more, and to create! Are there any disadvantages of it? No! Of course not! As long as you do not let yourself become lazy. Lazy people do not think, do not enjoy, do not work and do not create … And I DO!!!
