9. THE ARTIST & THE ARTWORK The artist used racing as his theme because it has always interested him. And he wanted to see if he could recreate some of the action filled car chase sequences he has witnessed over the years.

10. SUBJECTIVE FRAME The artist intended to have a not to serious chase animation, as most are.

11. CULTURAL FRAME The artist has a theme of chases which relates to people who are interested in cars and racing. Many teenagers are interested in cars.

12. STRUCTURAL FRAME The artist uses the computer for his stop animation. Each picture was taken using a normal camera. Then uploaded to a computer & to windows movie maker. The artist shortened the picture times and made titles and credits. He also added in some live footage. And finally, added some music that sounds like chase music ‘Live and let die’ by Guns and Roses. The animation challenges mainstream because it uses two different types of media in the same film, real footage and animation.
