3. Introduction ● A new Invenio module ● Management of circulation of items Loans, requests and Inter-library loans (ILL) ● Code inherited from Joaquim Silvestre 50% of its 31.000 lines currently owned by me ● In production since August 2010

7. Borrower interface ● Requests – The book will be sent via internal mail as soon as it will be available. ● Renewals – Online renewal of loans if the book has not been requested. ● ILL – The borrower can request ILLs to the library.

8. Librarian interface ● Items: add, modify and delete copies ● Borrowers ● Requests: register new request, cancel, create a loan from a request ● Loans: register new loan, return, renew... ● ILL: register, keep track of them ● Libraries: sites, external libraries

9. Automated tasks ● Invenio BibSched tasks ● Emails for overdue loans – 3 different templates for emails – Recalls are sent the day that the loan expires, 3 days after, one week after and every day from that moment on ● Borrowers information update
