2
PRINTER Printing is a process for reproducing text and image. Type Of Printers → Dot Matrix →Ink Jet →Laser →Lcd
3
HISTORY OF PRINTING In 1953 The firts high-speed printer was developed by Remington Rang In 1964 The firts dot-matrix printer was marketed by IBM In 1969 - Laser printer In 1976 – Inkjet printer Now it’s the period of 3D printer
4
URBEE Urbee is the first prototype car was presented. This is the first car ever to have its entire body printed out on a giant 3D printed. It has three wheels and two seats.
5
WORKING You only need a printer, raw materail, and sofware to tell the printer what to print.
6
APPLICATION Areas Of Application Of 3D Printers Industrial Design Automotive and Aviation Industries Architecture Food Industry Medical Industries Jewelry Footwear Engineering and Construction
7
INDUSTRIAL DESIGN Designers use 3D printers to quikly create product models and prototypes.
8
AUTOMOTIVE AND AVIATION INDUSTRIES Automotive and Aviation Industries use 3D printers to make body parts.
9
ARCHITECTURE Artist can create models of their projects.
10
FOOD INDUSTRY In food preparation to apply items in liquid or paste form such as cheese, chocolate.
11
MEDICAL INDUSTRY Doctors can use 3D printing to make hearing aids, artificial teeth and bone grafts.
12
ADVANTAGES Rapid Prototyping Clean process Complex shape can be produced Easy to use.No skilled person needed. Cheap: Cheaper process than any other process. More design
13
DISADVANTAGES Process is slow Components do not have enough strength. 3-D printers are still expensive. When people start to do own works in 3D printer, they don't need other ones and some kind of jobs will be disappeared.
