2. 2016/09/272 Background of the Project The contract includes the provision of Car wash services at the Kusile Power Station Project. The car wash services form part of the Kusile Power Station Project situated approximately 35 kilometres from Emalahleni on the R545 in the Balmoral district. The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, administration and management, equipment, tools, supplies and materials to perform the works as specified herein. The contract period is 01 January 2015 until 31 December 2017

3. Scope of Work 2016/09/273 The detail description of the works consists of:  The services shall include exterior washing, interior cleaning and full wash service as directed by the Employer’s representative.  The contractor shall report any noticed paint, scratches or trim defects to the Employer’s representative.  Any valuables found in the vehicles must be handed to the Employer’s representative.  First priority shall be given to Eskom fleet at all times, the expected number of vehicles are as follows :  Sedan 3  Bakkies 55  Quantum Kombi 2  22 seated kombi 2

Scope of Work Continued... 2016/09/274 Ambulance 2 Fire Truck 1 Skid Unit 1 Mules 15 Trailers 3 The Contractor is required to provide the necessary plant and material to curry out the works, this will includes all plant and tools maintenance at all times. The scheme owner’s vehicle will form part of the service. Payments for the private vehicle will be made by the vehicle owner immediately after the car wash, and will not form part of the monthly amount claimed against the contract. A separate record must be kept of these vehicles

5. Technical Tender Deliverables The Contractor shall submit the following for evaluation purposes: A detailed method statement on how you plan to execute the works Management experience (attach CV’s) and company organogram/organizational structure. 6. Technical Tender Evaluation Criteria The evaluation of the tenders will be based on the tenderer’s ability to meet prerequisite tender qualifications and the technical requirements.
