One of the most obvious problems that China faces today is air pollution, in particular, fine dust. As you can see in the image above, the people of China have to wear inconvenient masks on a daily basis to avoid fine dust

For many recent years, with the problem of air pollution, Chinese people have desired better health.
The department of Chinese statistics showed that out of the 740 million laborers, 250 million laborers required to wear mask.
As a result of this desire, the size of the mask market in China is expected to increase to be worth ¥ 5,300 million in 2018.
In the graph, the horizontal dotted-blue line represents the amount of air pollution in a smoking area. And the blue curve represents the maximum amount of air pollution in Beijing. For many recent years, Chinese people have desired better health. The Department of Chinese Statistics showed that out of the 740 million laborers, 250 million laborers are required to wear masks. Fine dust enter through the small holes in oxygen mask.
In order to flush out 𝐶𝑂 2 , Oxygen mask require more than 5 LPM (Litter per minute) of air to enter.
In order to carry out such a task, Oxygen masks require a big battery and oxygen-providing devices.
Now I will explain why we did not simply choose oxygen masks. People commonly think that oxygen masks are better devices than the particulate masks. But, oxygen masks have limitations. First, there are small holes in oxygen mask, so fine dust enter through the small holes in oxygen mask. And CO2 remains in the oxygen mask when user breathes. In order to flush out CO2, oxygen masks require more than 5 LPM of oxygen to enter. And in order to carry out such a task, oxygen masks require a big battery and oxygen-providing device, which is inconvenient, if not impossible, to carry around.

The particulate mask does not require the flow rate of over 5 LPM to flush out 𝐶𝑂 2
This mask provides air only when the person needs to consume oxygen.
So, Nasal cannula – attached particulate mask doesn’t require a big battery, a humidifier, and a big oxygen providing device.
because this mask does not require the flow rate (of over 5LPM) to flush out CO2. if you are not a patient, you don’t need 5 LPM when you breathe. We only need 1~2 LPM to breathe. And this mask provides air only when the person needs to consume oxygen. Actually, we only need small amount of air when we inhale. In this graph, the yellow rectangular represents the time that people needs to consume oxygen.
So, nasal cannula - attached particulate mask doesn’t requires a big battery, a humidifiers, and a big oxygen-providing device.

First, there is a market for Inogen G3, which is an oxygen concentrator which provide filtered and high concentrated oxygen to nasal cannula. Because it is light, small in size, and enough duration of battery, it is convenient for people to carry it around. We think we can use this product, for medical purpose, to connect it with the nasal cannula.
