Words to Know... ● Prophet: ● One who speaks God's Word to God's people. ● Evangelist: ● One who speaks or writes the Good News about Jesus ● Apostle: ● One who is sent out as Jesus' messenger ● Bible: ● Word meaning “book” ● Scriptures: ● The “writings” referring to the Bible

What is the Bible? ● II Timothy 3: 16 ● II Peter 3: 21 ● John 14: 26 ● 1. God the Holy Spirit breathed into (inspired) the writers to write the exact words He wanted.

What is the Bible? ● I Corinthians 2: 12-13 ● 2. The Bible is therefore word-for-word God's Word.
