Between January 2004 and March 2007, 600,533 PCI admissions were recorded in the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) Catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (CathPCI) Registry. Following exclusions, 588,398 total patients were included in the overall model development and validation cohort. STEMI = ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
