We are all born in a state of sin, and rejection of God. This is called ORIGINAL SIN. It is from Adam and Eve who rejected God, even though they were in paradise. Baptism washes away this sin, so that we can be in friendship with God. Baptism gives you the Holy Spirit, which is God’s life in you. It opens up the road to eternal life with God, which leads to heaven. 1.Write down 2 things the Sacrament of Baptism does for you. 2.Draw the picture of someone in original sin, and someone being baptised, with sins washed away & the road to God open to them 3.**Do you think it is right to baptise babies, or should only adults be baptised ? What does the Sacrament of Baptism do?
