3 English Settlements Unique Features:  Wood frame forms part of the outside wall  Between the beams is filled with plaster  Huge chimney serving one+ fireplaces  Roof – thatch, shingles, or clapboards  Small windows Half-Timbered House

4 English Settlements Unique Features:  Simple Rectangular Design  Central Chimney  Roof- Pitched, Gable, Gambrel Cape Cod
