1.Where is Srilanka? Ans: In the Indian Ocean, just off the south-eastern coast of India. 2. “ It is called the teardrop of India.” Do you agree? Why/ why not? Explain in 2 sentences. Ans: Yes. I do. It is shaped like a teardrop which has rolled down from India. It is also called Pearl of Indian Ocean. Land area Sri Lanka has a total land area of about 65,000 square kilometers. It has more than 1340 kilometers of coastline.
