1. 1 NASA’s First Google+ Hangout in Spanish Earth E/PO Forum & NASA Science4Girls March 28, 2013 The Earth E/PO Forum, led by IGES, organized NASA’s First G+ Hangout in Spanish to: increase engagement with the Spanish-speaking public; highlight the contribution of women in NASA as part of National Women’s History Month 2013, themed Women Inspiring Innovation through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; highlight the contribution of Hispanics/Latinos in NASA; expand the reach of NASA’s social media platforms in Spanish; and engage library patrons from predominantly Spanish-speaking communities, particularly girls and their families.
