1. DVD Menu Diary! FOR Grown Ups 2

2. Plan Choose images, that I’m going to use. (mood board) Pick a colour scheme from those images and existing Grown up 2 posters and DVD menu. Pick the Background. Then add title. Add main image. Add any secondary images. Add sub menu bar. Add little extra’s.

3. Colour scheme I have gone for a primary blue with orange as a secondary. I have done this because blue seems to be the main colour in each poster and DVD menu I have seen, and orange because it uses that colour as well and they go well together.

4. This is the main background that I have chosen The reason for this is because the main colour theme’s I have been able to pick out from other grown up 2 images I have seen is that blue is always there and one other colour, one such colour was orange another was white but it would make it to plain, red was another but orange looked better for what I was looking for. Background:

5. These are the four main characters in Grown ups 2, With the layout I have them at the moment I plan on putting them in a picture frame, so they look a bit more structured then just randomly piled on the screen. Main Characters :

6. I added the background in to give the Menu a bit more colour then just the blue because that would have been the background otherwise. Background For images:

7. I ended up doing a few things here, first I added the Picture frame around it, and the black borders between the images inside. But I also changed the Images inside because they didn’t look good enough. Image border:

8. This is the two for Grown ups “2” it is double layered to give it extra depth, I picked red because I felt I needed more colour in the main design. Big 2 :

9. Title: The title for grown ups 2. I might end up changing the colour to something else, the reason for this is that I blends in with the orange of the 2 background.

10. I ended up changing the title to this because other title’s of this have looked like either of the two, but this one look’s better then the other one. Title:

11. Selection bar: I plan on going for something simple but effective for the menu bar.

14. This is the with all the selections put onto the bar, showing how they look together.

16. Higgins wheel: I added Higgins in the tire as a last minute thing to my DVD menu because I thought it was a bit to bare to look at.

17. Finished: This is the finished product of my DVD menu, I’m not going to lie and say there isn't thing that could be sort out on it because there is but I could probably spend a lot of time removing little problems in it.
