Secondary Ozone maxima ~85-95 km M + + O 3 MO + + O 2 MO + + e - M + O Kochi Fukui Ionized meteor trail KUT meteor radar at Kochi uses forward scattering of radio signals from ionized meteor trails transmitted from Fukui prefecture In the meteor echoes duration distribution versus number of echoes, lack of long duration meteor echoes is observed The reason behind this lack could be the existence of secondary ozone maxima in the meteor region Ozone oxidizes meteoric ions and ionization is lost, radio signals are not scattered back to earth First Ozone maxima
