13 Homework Personally, I am not a huge fan of homework. However, it is a vital part of learning and retaining information. The following outlines the regular homework you will see throughout the year. 14 BYOD The use of computers and such devices are increasingly necessary in elementary school. We currently have 25 Chrome books to divide between six 4 th grade teachers. 18 Lexile Measures 4 th Grade Goal: 740 – 940 By reading for 30 minutes each evening, your child can, potentially, learn upwards of 1,000,000,000 new vocabulary words in a year!
