11 NCJTC - CST Core Training High Risk Victims for CST High Risk Victims for CST Participants/System Stakeholders will learn: How to quantify the problem of sex trafficking locally Define the High Risk Victim, and the correlation between the chronic runaway, repeat victims of sexual abuse, and the child victimized through sex trafficking. Provided with proven effective methods to identify and locate these hidden victims Effective recovery interview techniques to thoroughly identify their victimization will be taught 5-point strategy to combat the Commercial Sexual Exploitation within the community

12 NCJTC - CST Core Training MDT Response for CST MDT Response for CST Team-based training for existing Multi- Disciplinary Teams (MDT) to improve their response to Child Sex Trafficking (CST). The training will also assist individuals seeking to establish a formal MDT in their communities to effectively respond to CST cases. Teams will identify gaps and develop short and long term response plans.

13 NCJTC - CST Core Training CST Forensic Interviewing Training CST Forensic Interviewing Training The program is designed to develop skills and technique in conducting developmentally appropriate forensic interviews of victims of child sex trafficking. The program focuses on differentiating a forensic interview of these minor victims from other victim populations.

14 NCJTC – CST Core Training CST for Prosecutors CST for Prosecutors Attendees will learn about: Prosecutorial strategies designed to prove the case while protecting the victim from further harm. Participants will learn how to effectively develop a case strategy and be introduced to various pre-trial issues, including identifying and working with witnesses and expert witnesses, preserving testimony and how to respond to unexpected issues during pre-trial/trial

15 NCJTC - CST Core Training CST Investigative Techniques for Law Enforcement CST Investigative Techniques for Law Enforcement This 3-day training is designed to provide participants with: Information necessary to properly understand, recognize, and investigate:   Proven effective victim interview techniques   Case corroboration techniques   Proven effective interrogation techniques   Reality Based training where participants work through actual cases.
