1. Welcome to EDINA agcensus The EDINA agcensus service provides online access to grid-square Agricultural census data. The grid square estimates of agricultural production are available in ASCII delimited format at various resolutions from as far back as 1969 for England, Scotland,and Wales. Users can visualise or download data for use in other software packages, such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS). 4. Select country for data download or visualisation and click Continue

5. Select year of interest

6. Choose census item(s) for year and country selected and click Add Item(s)+ N.B. whereas more than one item can be downloaded only one item can be visualised at any one time

7. Select level of aggregation

8. Select geographic area of interest by entering British national grid co-ordinates or by using the Map Controls

9. Summary of data download selection criteria. If satisfied click Download

10. Click on Download Data to download raw ASCII census items to your computer. View information about units of analysis or refer to census questionnaire
