5 What is the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF)? A register of standards and qualifications that are –Nationally recognised –Expressed as achievements –Regularly checked for quality –Used singly or in programmes of learning –Packaged as qualifications

9 Mode of Assessment External assessment: Marked by national markers. 14 Encouraging High Achievement Certificate Endorsement - 50 credits at Excellence = NCEA endorsed with Excellence - 50 credits at Merit (or M/E) = NCEA endorsed with Merit The student will be awarded only one endorsed certificate in any one year, at the highest level possible (e.g. Level 2 Merit will be awarded over a L1 Excellence). Credits can be included for more than one academic year Course Endorsement - 14 credits at Excellence (with 3 internals and 3 externals) = course endorsed with Excellence - 14 credits at Merit (or M/E) = course endorsed with Merit

ABS means the student was absent from the exam You can access results by asking for the NSN from your daughter
