5.  Opens door for obedience. (Jn. 14:15)  Sustains obedience. (1 Pet. 1:13-16)  Encourages sincere worship. (Ps. 122:1)  Eliminates murmurings. (Phil. 2:14-16)  Guards against apostasy. (2 Tim. 4:1-4)  Prepares one for heaven. (Phil. 3:17-21)
