5 VOCABULARY No word bank fill in the blank Know your vocabulary from chapter 7. Make sure you know your spelling!

6 PARTITIVE ARTICLES Partitive articles are : Du – masculine/singular De la – feminine/ singular Des – plural De l’ – singular and starts with a vowel Partitive articles mean some or a portion of an item. Look at the word that follows. Ask yourself the following questions: Is the word masculine or feminine? Is the word singular or plural? Choose the partitive article that answers your questions.

7 IMPERATIVE The imperative is the command form. Use the conjugation of one of the following forms. DO NOT INCLUDE SUBJECTS OR SUBJECT PRONOUNS! Nous = let’s…. Vous – command to multiple people or a formal/polite command Tu – command to one familiar person. Do not use the subject pronoun or the subject in a command. IN THE TU FORM: if it is an –er verb, drop the s at the end of the conjugation Speak French – Parle français Have a sandwich – Prends un sandwich Choose a water – Choisis une eau.

8 WRITING Know your vocabulary and know how to use the partitive articles in a full sentence when talking about food.
