For donations higher than that, the donor should use a paper pledge form Example for Military: $50 x 12 pp = $600 Example for Civilian: $50 x 26 pp = $1,300
12
12 Donors can search for charities in multiple ways… …or the donor can enter the 5-digit Charity Code. Key Training Point: Due to MyPay’s 20-30- minute time limitation, donor should use the search engine on the Heartland CFC website: www.heartlandcfc.orgwww.heartlandcfc.org. Click on the “Search Charities” link to select charities, and use MyPay to complete the transaction.
13
The donor enters the per pay period (Civ) or per month (Mil) donation amount for each charity Balance remaining is automatically calculated
14
Pledge summary is displayed. Undesignated funds are automatically calculated and displayed. Key Training Point: For an organization’s pledges to be properly credited, the donor MUST enter the correct info for Agency Name AND Command/Unit Name (ie. “042” or “142/1”) Permitted Characters: numbers, letters, forward slash (/), number sign (#), and spaces.
15
15 Final review and opportunity for donor to confirm intent
16
After pledge is confirmed and submitted, the donor can view and print a copy of the pledge report for their records The donor does not have to submit a report to the Coordinator for EEX or myPay – Your LE will keep informed of your EEX and myPay pledges made within your agency (you will get a weekly spreadsheet report with donor details) – If you do receive printouts of online pledges, do not submit them to the CFC office in batch envelopes 16 Special Notes:
17
If your agency uses Employee Express or myPay, you do NOT have to report the online donations and pledges for your agency to your Payroll office 17
