He is guide for the three main characters and protector. Tristan McLean is the father of Piper. Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty. She is Piper’s mother. Zeus is the god of lightning and is the god of the gods. He is Jason’s and Thalia’s father. Hephaestus is god of fire, crafts, and blacksmithing. He is Leo’s father. The camper’s at Camp Half Blood are the sons and daughters of the Greek gods. Chiron is a centaur-half horse and half man. He is the guidance counselor for Camp Half Blood.

Earthborn are monsters that have six arms and fought the first Jason. Venti is a funnel cloud that is a ghostly young man with smoky wings and eyes that flickered with lightning.

6. The setting of the book The setting of The Lost Hero is in the Twenty First Century. It takes place throughout North America, including Detroit, New York, Quebec City, Chicago, San Francisco, and New Jersey. It takes place in urban areas of the cities.

7. The conflicts of the book One conflict from the book is the goddess, Hera has been captured by giants and monsters. Another conflict from the book is the giant named Enceladus has captured Piper’s dad, Tristen McLean.

8. The solutions of the book One solution for the first conflict is to find where Hera is being held and to free her from the cage before the winter solstice. One solution for the second conflict is to free Piper’s dad, and kill the giant who guards him.

10. My personal review on the book Personally I thought that the book the Lost Hero was really good because it was about action and adventure. What made me keep on reading was the fact it was on my favorite genre and I was always wondering what would happen next.
