8 Pendragon After School Program 3:30-5:00 p.m. daily K-6 programming (potential K-3, 4-6 split if necessary) Supervision – Pendragon Hour supervisor plus and additional para or two depending on numbers. Volunteer opportunity for NHS and new HS incentive program. Weekly enrichment activity which could include vocal/instrumental music, art, core area extensions, guest readers, etc. Tentative Schedule: – Snack Time – Physical Activity – Homework Help/Academic Time – Free play/Enrichment Activity Plan to use lunchroom/multipurpose room/board room/commons

9 End of the School Day Procedures Concerns regarding traffic flow & student safety on south side of building after elementary dismissal. I am not sure there is a good solution to this issue. Visiting with parents/local police to let them air their concerns and share their ideas. Considerations: – Students walking will exit out door 4 (to the north) – Bus students will exit to the playgroup where they will be supervised until busses arrive. (load in alley west of play ground) – Making alley a one-way traffic designation – Creating a pick-up zone south of playground fence where staff parking currently exists. This would allow pick-up to occur off the street, increasing safety but may have no benefit on the length of time parents wait to pick up kids. – Pick up only on one side of street Would like to have a decision made this week so it can be added to school newsletter.
