3. The real step started towards this goal started in 2006 depending on : Privet Expenses. Limited Financial Support from MoHSER. International programs Such as Fulbright. Memorandums of Understanding with foreign Universities or Research Centers.

4. Announcement of Two important Programs in 2007 Erasmus Mundus Fuded by European Union, The University of Duhok was the only Iraqi partner for 3 years Scholarships from Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad Funded by the Central Government

5. The Human Capacity Development Program HCDP is the stimulating program that announced from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research In Erbil, Funded from Kurdistan Regional Government. The Most Important Scholarships’ Program started In 2010

Round 01: Included Candidates from University of Duhok and Health Directorate 265 Master Candidates 88 PhD Candidates 112 First Graduates of the University for (2008/2009 and 2009/2010 ) 65 Round 02 Included Candidates from University of Duhok and other directorates within Duhok Governorate 195. Master Candidates 134 PhD Candidates 61 Round 03 Included only Candidates from University of Duhok 121 Master Candidates 49 PhD Candidates 27 First graduates of the university for (2010/2011) 45 HCDP came with Three rounds

7. Hopefully the next rounds will be continued after overcoming the problem of the Economical Crises in Iraq in general
