3. 1.You must meet with an Academic Advisor to develop an educational plan before you have completed 18 university- level credits Why? A registration hold will be placed on your account if you do not meet with an advisor by 18 university-level credits (approximately 6 courses). The goal of Qualifying Studies and meeting with an Academic Advisor is to help you refine your goals and objectives, understand your choices, and identify any further upgrading or university level courses you require so that you can apply to your desired program. 4. 2.You must be accepted into a program (i.e. certificate, diploma, or degree) prior to completion of 30 university- level credits. Why? A registration hold will be placed on your account if you are not in a program by 30 university-level credits. Qualifying Studies will enable you to take the required courses you need to apply for your desired program, so that you can graduate with the education you need to reach your career goals.
