Budgeting What does BUDGETING mean? An estimate of income and expenditure for a set period of time The amount of money needed or available for a purpose A budget can be made for a person, family, group of people, business, government or country

How well can you budget? In pairs or small groups: Decide how you will spend your money Record the money you have and the money you spend Do you have money left at the end of the week? Have you been able to make the choices you wanted? Are there ways to reduce how much you’ve spent? What would you do with the money you have left over?
