The Power of Innovation Breeder Management The breeder life is divided in 4 fases : -A / start = 0~4 weeks -B/development = 5~15 weeks -C/pre-lay = 16~25 weeks -D/production = 25~end Each fase is characterized by different growth rate. Each fase ask for a different used of nutrients.

The Power of Innovation Factors to be taken in consideration when we feed the breeders in the beginning or during the production UNIFORMITY AND THE RHYTHM OF EGG PRODUCTION The percent of uniformity needs to be taken in consideration in order to decide how fast we do the feed increase. The flocks that increase production 2~3% daily, need to be fed with the maximum quantity when reach 30%~45% The flocks that increase with only 1~1.5% daily, respond better when they Receive the maximum quantity at 60%.

The Power of Innovation Factors to be taken in consideration when we feed the breeders in the beginning or during the production FEEDING TIME When a flock eats faster then normal, needs more feed. When the feeding time is delated, we feed too much. The time necessary can be influenced by : temperature, feed texture, etc.

The Power of Innovation Factors to be taken in consideration when we feed the breeders in the beginning or during the production TEMPERATURE When the temperature in the house is around 20 ℃, for each 1 degree less is needed to increase the feed with the equivalent of 5Kcal/b/day.

For each 100gr. more on body, the bird needs 8Kcal/b/d. The lose or stationary body weight indicates no enough feed.

The Power of Innovation Broiler Breeder Male Management Broiler Breeder management has become increasingly challenging in recent years as broiler growth improves and the relative level of feed and growth restriction versus full feed bird becomes more severe. This combined with improvement in feed conversion, presents added problems with maintaining body weights, particularly during the production period as small increments of feed in excess of requirement results in rapid growth.

The Power of Innovation Broiler Breeder Male Management There is also the trend to use high yield males, which complicates the situation. The first task is to decide how we control male body weight in production as this will determine the servicing required for day-old chicks.
