7 7 Recommendations A good 3d printer doesn’t have to cost more than $2,000 There are many good 3d printers on the market for $600 or less Kit based printers can be even cheaper ($500 or less) – But you have to assemble them!

10 10 Recommendations CNC routers are generally used for woodshop type projects. The shopbot is a heavy duty hobbyist machine X-Carve ($1,250) Shapoko 3 ($1,100)

11 11 To be frank I wouldn’t recommend a cnc router to most teachers I would recommend a cutting machine Cricut Explorer ($200-$250) Silhouette Cameo ($270)

21 21 Thingiverse has a lot of premade models Some are too complicated and need a lot of supplies, some are super easy Instructables is a good choice too You are not a toy store

22 22 Instructables Also a good source for project ideas – (that batman logo is made from cardboard, black spray paint, and cheap LED strips)

23 23 123d circuits Very easy and powerful circuit designer Have kids test their circuits and show you before they begin actually using up components and burning things out!

24 24 Tinkercad to cut up objects and 3d Print in Clear or Glow Hollow out insides of objects to hide LED’s and batteries “Clear” plastic will let light through You can always paint everything else later!
