The object of this Association is to bring about among God's people that reformation called for in the Testimonies for the Church Volume 9, page 126, as the prerequisite movement to sounding the "Eleventh-Hour Call" (Matt. 20:6, 7) of "the everlasting gospel...to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people." Rev. 14:6. Through this call, the Loud Cry of the three angels' messages, it is to gather "the people of the saints of the Most High" (Dan. 7:27) into the kingdom "which shall never be destroyed...but...shall break in pieces and consume all...kingdoms." These shall not be able to stand when the Lord appears in His temple. Hence, the revival and reformation brought to view in Malachi is the first and the last of its kind, and is indeed to be crowned with the purification of the Church. Those who do not awake now, will therefore sleep for ever. 5SC6-12: 11.1.3: I have inspired authority for what I have said, and you should not have failed to see it, for the booklet, "Christ Our Righteousness," p. 154, plainly states that reformation means "re-organization," and I hardly think that you expect the reformation to take place after the purification. Half an Hour Silence in Heaven Timeline to the Kingdom A Reformatory Movement In visions of the night, representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God's people. Many were praising God. The sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought. A spirit of intercession was seen, even as was manifested before the great Day of Pentecost. Hundreds and thousands were seen visiting families and opening before them the word of God. Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of genuine conversion was manifest. On every side doors were thrown open to the proclamation of the truth. The world seemed to be lightened with the heavenly influence. Great blessings were received by the true and humble people of God. I heard voices of thanksgiving and praise, and there seemed to be a reformation such as we witnessed in 1844. {9T: 126.1} Yet some refused to be converted. They were not willing to walk in God's way, and when, in order that the work of God might be advanced, calls were made for freewill offerings, some clung selfishly to their earthly possessions. Luke 14:17. And though they who first hear the call may excuse themselves (Luke 14:18-20), "the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind" from "the streets and lanes of the city" (Luke 14:21, 22) will respond. (3) Then with a loud cry it is to "go into the highways and hedges" (Luke 14:23), preaching "the everlasting gospel...unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" (Rev. 14:6), "baptizing...in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever" Christ commanded (Matt. 28: 19, 20). With the consequent fruits of this work, the second of the harvest, it is to enlarge the Kingdom until it fills the whole earth (Dan. 2:35). In brief, at this particular time He will be sending missionaries into His neglected vineyard (church) instead of into the Gentile world. TN6: 40.1: Though the work, moreover is to have a small hard, mattock-like beginning it will gain speed and will emerge from the mattock stage into the ox-plow stage -- the stage which will see all the believers of Present Truth (except the "lesser cattle") unitedly go forth to dig or plow other "hills" until all the thorns and briers shall be uprooted throughout the land, the ground broken up, and the vineyard restored even beyond its original excellency. Or, literally speaking, during the purification of the church, God's vengeance takes the wicked from among His people! and thereafter keeps them out and preserves His church pure forevermore, without fear of its ever becoming polluted again. In thus absolutely uprooting the briers and thorns (the wicked), He precludes even the fear of their returning. 14

At the final meeting of the ten-day series a call was made that all who were convinced that the message in "The Shepherd's Rod" was the message of the hour and are ready to openly take their stand on the side of present truth by taking an active part in its proclamation through personal visits, hand out invitations to the meetings, and give their fullest financial as well as physical support for the same, to stand up. About three-fourths of the attendance stood up. The remaining one-fourth requested time to study a little longer. Among them were two ministers -- one, an S.D.A.; the other, a former Baptist. This consecration meeting was followed by organizing the entire company, at which time Elder R.T. Nash, from the Redlands Church, was elected as leader, and Sr. Jessie Trowbridge, secretary.
