9. SLPs will : Educate company employees about cultural differences. Collaborate in the design and maintenance of a culturally sensitive work setting. Aid in preparing company personnel traveling abroad about the structure of the host country’s phonemic system.

10. Education on cultural differences. World perception (what is deemed important), Social etiquette (appropriate behavior), Cultural values, (Samovar & porter, 1972, chap. 1). Nonverbal cueing, Proxemics (individual space), Timing issues (response, appointment, concept of time), (Samovar &Porter 1972, chap. 4). Interpretation of clothing or fabric (Beck, 2000).

11. Culturally sensitive work setting. Confronting stereotyping (Samovar & Porter, 1972). Scheduling accommodations with in reason for important occasions.

12. Host country’s language and sound structure. Verbal cueing (Samovar & Porter, 1972). Phonemic awareness training.
