Three perspectives: > More than a record… “We are trying to maximise the educational value of the HEAR…it’s not just a transcript – we want the maximum value for our students… it has the potential for being a unique University proposition as it’s an integral part of what we do …I can see how it will work as a strand of the rich employability curriculum that we are trying to develop.”

Looking ahead - grades matter, but other things matter too… An SME perspective… And one from Google… ‘The world only cares about — and pays off on — what you can do with what you know (and it doesn’t care how you learned it)… in an age when innovation is increasingly a group endeavour, it also cares about a lot of soft skills — leadership, humility, collaboration, adaptability and loving to learn and re-learn.’ ‘We are not interested in the degree classification - the whole person is of far more interest to us. We need people who can take responsibility and are able to pitch in as and where necessary.’ (SME employer).
