Grading Scale / Grade Point Averages Information in Course Catalog Each semester, for each class you pass you receive a.5 credit. The grades you earn in each class are converted into a 0.0-4.0 scale which becomes your grade point average. For example : Semester 1 Grades: A (4.0) B+ (3.3) B (3.0) C+ (2.3) A- (3.7) A (4.0) First Semester Grade Point Average = 3.38, B+ Passion – Respect – Integrity – Dedication - Excellence

Grading Scale / G.P.A. Remember: Your grade point average is cumulative. That means the grades you earn freshman year average with the grades you get every other year in high school. There are no “do-overs” with your grades. If you fail a class, not only does the grade stay on your transcript, but you must take the class again. Your grades as a 9 th grader significantly impact your chances to get into college. Passion – Respect – Integrity – Dedication - Excellence
