2 Goals Trace the development of monumental art following the dark ages, which lasted in Greece from about 1200 BCE to about 800 BCE. 5 Greek Dark-age and the Dorian migration The collapse of the Mycenaean civilization is commonly attributed to the Dorian invasion, although other theories describing natural disasters and climate change have been advanced as well.
