Types of Decision There are 3 types of decision Strategic Tactical Operational B106/078 – DM – Type of Decision Decisions made by junior managers as required (short term) in response to minor problems that occur. Decisions made by middle/senior management about how over a reasonable period of time (the medium-term) the organisation will go about achieving its strategic decisions. Decisions made by senior management about the long-term strategies to be adopted by the organisation in order to achieve its Objectives.

Decision: adjust prices in order to increase profits. Employees can choose to work slower. Decision: increase wages, offer bonuses and better working conditions. 2.
