2. Those who were involved Tara Nur Alisha(Team Leader) Casey Pua Lynn Sim Charisse Faith Wong Celeste Koh Renee Chew(Migrated to Australia) Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(SPCA Singapore) 4 Primary 1 Students

3. What was our target group? Our Target group were animals. We wanted to spread the message and stop animal abuse. “Keep the love,end the neglect”.The Singapore SPCA has also helped us with this by giving us ideas. We emailed the education executive, Miss Selina Sebastian to help us with the project.

4. What we planned We planned to give a presentation to the school about animal welfare We then decided to print out posters and paste them in school. We had a dedication board,where the 4 Primary 2 students could post their wishes for the animals at the SPCA and other adoption centres. We planned to sell SPCA Merchandise and collect donations to raise funds for the SPCA We also wanted to hold a no-uniform day,which each student needs to pay a total of $1 to come in the clothes of their choice

5. What Happened on that day We were assigned to 4 primary 1 students to share our presentation. The students were enthusiastic and were eager to know what we wanted to share. We gave them each a total of 4 hand-outs regarding animal welfare. We asked them Questions and gave them sweets if they got it correct. We posted Posters around the school We got them to decorate the dedication board and put up their wishes on a post-it pad. We asked them Questions like “Do you love animals?” and “How many of you had/have pets before?” We also got them to share about their experiences with animals. They shared their feelings after the presentation and were feeling proud that they got to know this information.

7. What where our feelings At the end of our presentation,we felt tired, proud and happy that we got to promote animal welfare. We also sad that this was over. We hope that the children we taught learnt a lot from our presentation. We also hoped our hard work has paid off.
