4. He became famous in 2000 for his design for the Album cover for the pop group Blur. Opie’s portraits usually have button eyes, two dots as a nose, a long upper line and shorter lower line as a mouth and two brushstrokes as eyebrows Opie takes his inspiration from the Tintin cartoons by Herge

5. Since 2000, Opie’s style of portraiture has become very popular across the world.
