Older teens are more likely to use the service than younger, with use rising steadily as teens age, from just 13% of 13- year-olds using the service to 28% of 14- year-olds and 43% of 17-year-olds. The oldest girls ages 15 to 17 are the most likely to use Twitter with nearly half of them (49%) using it.
