Accenture Assets – External View While the assets in the external view are very much in alignment with those of the internal view, there are some major differences: “Selling” Assets have either been removed, renamed “Enabling” Assets, or shifted to other sections of the development lifecycle Assets currently in development have been removed Internal Only Assets (e.g., SOA Senior Executive Primer, SOA Competitive Analysis POV) have been removed Some minor updates to asset descriptions have been made to improve “external” view of specific assets Recommended Use Communicating to clients that we have a robust set of SOA knowledge capital To jumpstart specific discussions regarding a particular capability area (e.g., SOA Governance) Accenture’s Asset Map (discussed on slide four of this presentation) takes an internal view of Accenture’s SOA assets. SOA Assessment Model (SAM) v2.0 Web-based survey to help organizations evaluate their existing SOA capabilities and determine the potential impact of SOA. Intended for client IT executives, it provides a user-friendly SOA impact analysis containing a prioritized short list of areas that are best addressed with an SOA, including recommendations for an SOA adoption roadmap. SOA Vendor Startup Kits The kits package numerous EAI concepts and their practical application. Each kit consists of reference material, lab exercises, and finally an EAI application prototype build.
